I was here on holliday in 1998. It's famous for it's Cleopatra Beach - according to legends the roman general imported sand from Egypt to this beach so that Cleopatra should feel at home.
A nice city to visit, with old fortress, nice beach, good food and several turkish baths. Oh, everything is cheap, very cheap - especially textiles and leather products. It's possible to have a day trip up to the mountains and raft. From cat 4 to cat 6 rapids - with food and resting on the halfway.
